Monthbooks!

It looks like we'll be releasing the first Hitherby monthbook,

Hitherby Dragons: Primal Chaos

Including December 2003 and some bonus material, sometime around June 1! Stay tuned for further announcements. It'll be a cafepress print-on-demand product. :)

Catching Up!

Okay! I've added two Chung Kuo books and Winter Rose to my wishlist, just in case. I've also received one present, but haven't had a chance to read! Probably this Sunday or next, though, for the review. :)

Did you just say you went to university at 12? Surely not a proper university, like we have in the UK? (Which takes age 18-21 plus mature students.)

It's a complicated story, and not entirely nice. But yah. I was pretty much in a college environment from 8 on, and wound up formally registering at 12. One year at UCLA, then finishing up at Georgetown University.

P.S. Beth got comment 700! Congratulations! I haven't figured out, with the new forums, how to tell who gets 800. Hmmmm.

Kero-chan CHECK on comment 700:

Awkward indeed! The universe has a sense of humor.

Awkward is one of those rare words with *two* doubleyous. Isn't that cool? You don't see many of those these days.

A Pause for Breath

I'll respond to old comments in a few days here, by the way. I've been really busy, and no time for personal communication. :)

Back from ConBust

Hi!

I'm back!

It took a day longer to get back than expected. I had a . . . whatever these things I get are called; the doctors insist they're not seizures . . . at the airport mid-connection, so got bumped off a flight and treated to weird drugs and emergency rooms and an hour's sleep last night and stuff. Annoying. All I really needed was a private space so I could twitch and sweat and hyperventilate for a little bit without everyone staring, not a bunch of paramedics staring at me.

I was going to give you a non-stick-figure Hitherby before my around-the-4th day off this month, but here's the truth: I need to sleep, and since I *have* a scheduled day off, I'm using it. I might fill something in tomorrow if I'm really productive in the morning on other things. :)

Rebecca

P.S. Don't be too mean about the vacation entries! One was on Saturday, and you have to admit that song rules. And I think I'm going to leave the first stick figure day in canon. :)
